The command of the Ansar al-Din refuted information spread by Western media about the fall of the strategic city of Konna (see map), captured by Islamic forces last Thursday.
A statement, received by the news agency Sahara Media on Sunday, says that the United Islamic Coalition continues to control the city. French invaders and local puppets still have not seized Konna. The information reported Reuters and other Western media outlets is called a lie and baseless, writes UmmaNews.
“Our heroic Mujahideen are dominating it”, said in a statement of the Ansar al-Din command.
In addition, the leadership of the Islamic Coalition emphasized that the Mujahideen were not going to capture the capital Bamako
“We declare that the reports in the media that military action was aimed at taking the capital Bamako… is pure slander”, stated the statement.
According to the Ansar al-Din, capturing the city of Konna was in response to aggressive moves by the puppet regime and its military forces in the region.
The puppets unjustly killed peaceful and defenceless Muslims and mobilized their militants mercenaries in order to prevent the establishment of Sharia Law in Mali.
The Islamic Movement has expressed its willingness to enter into negotiations with any interested parties to reach a peaceful settlement. However, the Mujahideen said that negotiations with the puppets came to an end. As they say, the regime in Bamako has “greatly underestimated our initiative and responded to the aspirations of the French colonialists who do not hide their intentions and desires directly to colonize and occupy” the country.
In one of its last reports from Mali, Al-Jazeera aired an interview with the spokesman of Ansar al-Din, Sanda Ould Bouamama, who confirmed that French invaders kill women and children in Konna:
“Terrorist French military bombed Konna… Women, children and the elderly are the main victims. It is impossible to know how many people have been killed, but the number is huge. Only 5 of those killed were our fighters”.
“We have tanks, armored vehicles, anti-aircraft guns, GRAD rocket launchers and other weapons. We have already managed to shoot down a French military aircraft, on which everyone now heard about. But know this; we fight the French with the same weapons, as our brothers fought in Afghanistan and Iraq. Our faith in God, by His will, we will turn the region into a second Afghanistan, and France’s downfall.
Everyone knows that we are a local independent Islamic group. Our relationship with al Qaeda and other groups is the same as our relationship with any other Muslim. We share the same faith – that is all. Nothing more, nothing less”, said the spokesman of the Ansar al-Din, Sanda Ould Bouamama.
Sources in the command of the Mujahideen report about martyrdom (Insha’Allah) of one of the commanders of the Mujahideen, Abd al-Karim (aka Mohammad Kojak). He martyred during the liberation of Konna from gangs of puppets on Thursday. In a battle for the city, Mujahideen lost 5 fighters in total, while casualties of the puppet regime were more than 30 soldiers killed, several of them captured, and many injured.
Emir Abd al-Karim was a former commander of the secular rebels from the “National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad” (MPLA)”, who defected to the Mujahideen of Ansar al-Din.
In turn, Emir of Ansar al-Din, Iyad Ag Ghaly (see photo) had previously served as an officer in the Malian army, and it was just in the city of Sevare, which the Islamic Coalition had tried to capture. Then Ag Ghaly defected to the Mujahideen and led the movement allied with the Al-Qaeda.
Sahara Media reported on Sunday that the French conducted aerial raids on the cities under the control of the Mujahideen. In particular, one of the strikes was conducted on the city of Douentza (see map), 70 km from Konna. French defense minister said that his invaders would continue to strike on settlements of Azawad, both on day and night time.
Sources say that Douentza was bombed last night. The targets of the strikes is unknown. The city is under the control of the Mujahideen of the Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MOJWA).
Another strike was conducted on the city of Gao (see map), one of the largest cities of Azawad. It is known that the French aircrafts bombed at least three targets. Gao is also controlled by the Mujahideen of MOJWA. No details are given.
Meanwhile, as reported BBC News, French invaders acknowledged that combat training of the Mujahideen was a surprise for them.
One of the officials of president Hollande said that the Mujahideen of Azawad are “well-trained, well-equipped and well-armed”.
It is to be recalled that earlier the AP reported that the Islamic fighters seized weapons from the warehouses of Gaddafi in Libya. In addition, the Malian Mujahideen got Russian weapons.
“What really struck us is how up-to-date their equipment is, and the way they’ve been trained to use it”, said an unnamed terrorist Elysee Palace official.
“At the start, we thought they would be just a load of guys with guns driving about in their pick-ups, but the reality is that they are well-trained, well-equipped, and well-armed… From Libya they have got a lot of up-to-date, sophisticated equipment which is much more robust and effective than we could have imagined”, confessed the French criminal.
Sahara Media also writes that terrorist Frogs, supported by American terrorists , did not expect that the valiant Mujahideen offered them such powerful resistance. Experienced fighters of the Islamic Coalition continue to hold Konna.
In connection with this, France stated that it would send more fighter jets to Mali:
“Raids are continuing right now, said terrorist defense minister Jean-Yves Le Drian. – There were raids last night; there will be more this afternoon and tomorrow”.
According to Bloomberg, there are now 550 French invading terrorists stationed in Mali, Le Drian pledged to send reinforcements as needed. Regional puppets from “ECOWAS” pledged to send about 2,000 bayonets, while terrorist America offered to provide intelligence, logistical support and in-flight refueling for French aircraft. England is assisting with two Boeing C-17 military cargo aircraft to help transport terrorist invading troops.
“The threat is that a terrorist state will be created near Europe and France. We had to react before it was too late. They won’t succeed. We are determined to prevent this”, top French Le Drian said.
