About

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Al Hittin or AlHittin.com is an independent Islamic news and information website. We post material about Muslims and Islam that are blocked, distorted or suppressed by the mainstream media and often unknown or misunderstood even by Muslims. We especially try to gather information about the current global war on Islam, which is deceptively called as the ‘War on Terror’.

It is a small effort, help us grow. Write and/or report for us, talk about what you read here, and spread it as far as you can.

    • Al Hittin says:

Hittin was a Palestinian village, where the Battle of Hittin took place in 1187 between the Crusaders and the Muslims led by Sultan Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi. The Muslims alhamdulillah defeated the Crusaders and conquered most of interior Palestine from them. It was later captured by Israeli forces during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, the village was depopulated and today Hittin lies in ruins. This blog was named for a reason.

may I ask, who’s the mujahedeen on the picture? Correct me if I’m wrong, but is it ash-shaheed (Insha Allah) sheikh Imam Samudra?

    Jazakallah in advance
